We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the execution of promotional events, community outreach activities, and public engagement initiatives. This entry-level role involves assisting with event operations, attendee engagement, event setup and breakdown, and ensuring a positive experience for participants. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and execution of promotional events, community events, and outreach activities.
- Support event setup, registration, guest check-in, and event breakdown.
- Welcome attendees and provide information about programs, services, and event activities.
- Distribute promotional and informational materials to event participants.
- Engage with community members and answer general questions in a professional manner.
- Help maintain event schedules and ensure activities run smoothly.
- Monitor event areas to ensure a positive attendee experience.
- Collect participant feedback and assist with event reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve event attendance and engagement goals.
- Represent the organization professionally at all events and community activities.
- Maintain accurate records of event participation and outreach activities.
- Perform additional event support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
