Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events from start to finish. The ideal candidate will assist in logistics coordination, vendor management, on-site support, and post-event follow-up. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and coordination of events including meetings, conferences, product launches, trade shows, and corporate functions.
Support logistical activities such as venue booking, catering, equipment rental, and décor setup.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain event documentation, schedules, checklists, and budgets.
Help with promotional activities, including social media posts, email campaigns, and printed materials.
Assist with registration, guest list management, and attendee communication.
Provide on-site support during events including setup, guest assistance, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, admin) to ensure event goals align with company objectives.
Collect feedback and contribute to post-event reports.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software/tools.
