Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events from start to finish. This role involves assisting with logistics, coordinating vendors, managing event materials, and ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events such as conferences, corporate gatherings, promotional events, and private functions.
Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other external parties to confirm arrangements.
Help manage event timelines, checklists, and schedules.
Support with set-up and tear-down of event spaces.
Handle event materials including registration lists, signage, giveaways, and supplies.
Greet and assist guests during events, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Maintain event documentation and help with post-event reporting and feedback collection.
Perform administrative duties such as preparing event materials and updating databases.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or related field is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or event planning software.
