    A little about the Role

    We are seeking a reliable and skilled Event Cook to join our catering team. This role is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food for events while maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and a positive team environment. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings and is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and event specifications

    Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating for events of varying sizes

    Ensure all food meets company standards for quality, presentation, and consistency

    Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times

    Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

    Assist with loading and unloading equipment and supplies for off-site events

    Collaborate with chefs, servers, and event staff to ensure smooth event execution

    Adapt quickly to changing event needs and timelines

    Demonstrate knowledge of charcuterie boards, including a variety of deli meats and cheeses

    Assist with basic pastry and dessert preparation

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or event-based culinary role preferred

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices

    Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
