Are you an experienced and detail-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality and events? We're seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team at the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, located on the stunning coast of Bar Harbor, Maine.
In this role, you'll coordinate catering services for weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings—ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed and every guest leaves with an unforgettable experience. This is a key leadership role during our peak season, requiring 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule based on event needs.
While this is a seasonal position, year-round employment may be available for the right candidate. Pay ranges from $21–$26/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate catering and logistics for weddings, meetings, and special events
Serve as the primary contact for clients, vendors, and internal departments
Manage timelines, menus, layouts, and setup plans
Handle deposits, create event orders, and ensure accurate billing
Support marketing efforts and proposals for catering services
Supervise on-site event staff and banquet teams
Qualifications & Skills:
At least 2 years of experience in event coordination or food & beverage management
Strong computer skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, and Windows
Highly organized with excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed
Leadership mindset and a team-oriented approach
