    Phantom Canyon Brewing Co. is Colorado Springs’ first brewpub, proudly serving the community since 1993. Located in a historic building dating back to 1901, our three-story venue features eight unique event spaces and offers everything from intimate gatherings to full-building buyouts.

    We are known for delivering exceptional hospitality, craft beer, and memorable experiences and our events are no exception. Our events team provides seamless, full-service coordination from initial inquiry through execution.

    We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to lead outstanding events throughout our dynamic, multi-level venue. Reporting to the Event Manager, with collaboration alongside the General Manager, this role is responsible for every aspect of an event from guiding guests through key decisions to evaluating success after completion.

    The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in vendor and guest relations. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced hospitality environment will set top candidates apart.     Responsibilities

    Own the full lifecycle of event sales, from initial inquiry through execution and post-event follow-up

    Drive business results by responding to guest inquiries, developing new events, and generating new business

    Conduct venue tours, host food tastings, and network with prospective clients

    Negotiate and finalize client contracts

    Proactively network within the industry by participating in local events and building relationships with industry partners

    Develop and revise event layouts, packages, pricing, and space schedules

    Assess and understand the specific requirements for each event

    Plan events with close attention to budgetary and time constraints

    Negotiate with vendors to secure the most favorable terms

    Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and providing performance feedback for event team members

    Coordinate appropriate staffing levels and control labor costs through effective scheduling

    Perform final pre-event checks (e.g., room setup, technology, décor) to ensure standards are met

    Oversee events in progress and respond quickly to resolve issues

    Evaluate event success and complete post-event reports

    Skills & Qualifications

    Hospitality experience preferred; restaurant or venue experience a plus

    Proven track record of successfully coordinating events

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office

    Excellent guest relations and customer service skills

    Basic knowledge of recruitment and staffing practices

    Strong communication and negotiation abilities

    Highly organized, with strong multitasking skills

    Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

    Effective problem-solving skills

    Experience with Tripleseat and Toast is a plus

    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs

    Pay & Benefits

    This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $22–$24 per hour, plus a generous commission structure based on year-over-year event revenue growth (paid every four weeks). This position is not eligible to participate in a tip pool.

    Benefits are offered to full-time employees (averaging 30+ hours per week) following a waiting period.
