Position Overview

LaneStaffing is seeking dependable and professional Event Crew members to support event operations at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring events run smoothly by assisting with setup, logistics, guest experience, and overall site readiness.

Schedule & Availability

• Thursday through Sunday availability required
• Evening and weekend shifts (primary)
• Seasonal work with increased hours during peak event periods

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and materials
• Support vendor load-in and load-out
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces
• Assist with elevator operations and logistics flow
• Provide professional and friendly interaction with guests
• Support Event Captains and Operations Staff as needed

• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service or hospitality mindset preferred
• Comfortable with physical work (lifting, standing, moving equipment)

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must be able to lift and move items (up to 50 lbs preferred)
• Must have reliable transportation to Brooklyn Navy Yard
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
