    Job Summary

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator to support patient outreach and certification events across the state of Kentucky. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing patient drives, while also assisting patients through the medical marijuana certification process.

    This position combines event coordination, patient interaction, and operational support, making it ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and passionate about helping others. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is comfortable managing both logistics and patient-facing responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    Event Coordination & Outreach

    Plan, coordinate, and execute patient drives and certification events throughout Kentucky

    Identify and secure event locations in collaboration with leadership

    Manage all event logistics, including scheduling, setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination

    Travel as needed to support events across the state

    Ensure events are organized, professional, and aligned with company standards

    Track event performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement

    Patient Care & Support

    Assist patients through the medical marijuana certification process

    Educate patients on program requirements, next steps, and state registry processes

    Provide a positive, professional, and supportive patient experience

    Answer patient questions and address concerns in a timely manner

    Serve as a liaison between patients and providers

    Operations & Coordination

    Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and coordination teams to ensure seamless event execution

    Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow during events

    Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations

    Support administrative tasks related to patient intake and follow-up

    Qualifications

    1–3 years of experience in event coordination, healthcare support, or customer service

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Ability to multitask and manage multiple events/projects simultaneously

    Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

    Willingness to travel within Kentucky

    Basic understanding of healthcare or willingness to learn medical marijuana regulations

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in healthcare, patient coordination, or medical offices

    Experience with event planning or field marketing

    Familiarity with the Kentucky medical marijuana program (or similar programs)
