Job Description

• Capture high-quality images of attendees, decor, prizes, and key moments during the Winter Semi-Formal event.
• Photograph the venue setup, including the festive decorations and ambiance at the Berry Hill Resort.
• Take candid shots of guests enjoying the evening and participating in activities.
• Document YMCA child care services, if requested, to showcase the comprehensive event experience.
• Photograph prize giveaways, including items such as pizza ovens, fire pits, Blackstone griddles, and more.
• Deliver edited high-resolution images within a specified timeframe after the event.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event photography with a portfolio showcasing similar projects.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in a semi-formal environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with attendees for posed group photos.
• Own professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting.
• Must be available to work during the event hours (6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) and arrive early for setup.
• Experience photographing formal or semi-formal events is preferred.
• Knowledge of low-light photography techniques to capture the evening atmosphere effectively is also preferred.

This is a one-time contract position ideal for an experienced event photographer who excels in both posed and candid photography.
