    About the Organization

    The CSG Foundation provides financial assistance to individuals in need of speech therapy, occupational therapy, educational, and related services so they can access essential supports. Our mission is to remove financial barriers to life-changing care and ensure that no patient is turned away because of temporary financial hardship.

    Through the Foundation, we also advance our mission by raising funds to expand access to care, investing in the next generation of providers, & increasing public awareness of the vital role that speech, education, and therapeutic services play in improving quality of life.

    Our events include black-tie galas, donor receptions, & internal celebrations. Each is executed with the highest level of professionalism, combining aesthetic excellence with measurable outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Event Planner & Fundraiser with a proven background in high-end event production, corporate & nonprofit event planning, & fundraising to lead the planning & execution of both Foundation initiatives and company-wide events.

    Position Overview

    The Event Planner & Fundraiser will oversee the strategic planning, management, and execution of events for both Celebrations Speech Group and The CSG Foundation. This includes fundraising galas, donor cultivation events, appreciation receptions, awareness campaigns, professional development gatherings, staff appreciation events, and milestone celebrations.

    This position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational skills, an elevated design sensibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering events that meet brand, fundraising, and organizational objectives. The role will collaborate with executive leadership, the CSG Foundation Board, and internal teams to ensure each event advances the organization’s mission, strengthens relationships, and enhances community and staff engagement.

    Event Planning & Production

    Develop and manage event plans, budgets, and timelines.

    Source and manage venues, catering, décor, entertainment, and AV.

    Coordinate all event elements, including invitations, themes, catering, and activities.

    Oversee logistics including vendor contracts, staffing, and guest experience.

    Ensure seamless execution from preparation through follow-up.

    Fundraising & Donor Engagement

    Develop sponsorship packages and fundraising strategies.

    Coordinate silent auctions, raffles, live appeals, and other fundraising mechanisms.

    Track and evaluate event fundraising performance and ROI.

    Support donor cultivation through strategic event design and execution.

    Collaboration & Communication

    Work with marketing to ensure consistent event branding and promotion.

    Partner with internal teams, departments, and board members on event objectives.

    Provide clear communication on event goals, status, and deliverables.

    Qualifications

    5+ years professional event planning experience, with at least 3 years in fundraising galas or donor events.

    Demonstrated success in exceeding fundraising targets.

    Strong vendor management, negotiation, and budget oversight skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects and remain composed under pressure.

    Strong communication skills to engage donors, sponsors, and community leaders.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Salary range: $68,640–$80,000 annually, DOE.
