Well-rounded knowledge in the audio-visual industry including: audio, video, LED, lighting, rigging, power, and stage management.
Understanding of audio-visual integration and execution
10+ years of qualified event experience

Job Responsibilities
Manage all technical and production aspects of an event
Create equipment lists and pull sheets
Coordinate rentals and ensure no unnecessary rentals
Develop content masks and technical drawings - turning a stage design into a real rigging and audiovisual plan
Suggest alternative technical solutions
Spec out complex builds
Site visits and final advancements with venue, vendors, and Account Manager/Producer, etc.
Assign roles, book crews, and onsite crew management
Coordinate load-in, rehearsals, and show operations
Optimize crew and setup time
Create schedules and tech docs
Troubleshoot issues and realtime problem solving during events
Verify redundancy systems and ensure backups
Monitor system perfomance
Ensure rigging and safety measures
Coordinate & calculate power consumption and make sure electrical systems meet regulatory standards
Cable Management
Coordinate technical specs with creative
Hold regular production meetings
Keep an overall budget with all related show costs, to be overseen and signed off on by Account Manager or Producer
Training and mentoring new technicians
Occasionally assisting in office technical needs
Call technical cues in some smaller productions
Serve as an onsite tech or production manager (depending on the needs of each show)
