About the Role
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual to build and grow our presence in Connecticut and the greater New England market.
This is not just a sales role—this is an opportunity to own a territory, develop relationships, and become the go-to resource for event professionals in the region.
We are looking for someone who already has relationships in the Connecticut or New England event market—or is excited to quickly build them.
The ideal candidate thrives working independently, loves networking, and is excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
Develop and grow the Connecticut / New England market through proactive outreach and relationship-building
Build strong partnerships with event planners, venues, production companies, and brands
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients
Meet and exceed revenue goals for the region
Represent RentQuest at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
Create and present custom furniture + décor packages tailored to client needs
Collaborate with internal teams to execute events seamlessly
Attend key events on-site to support clients and strengthen relationships
Maintain ongoing communication with clients before, during, and after events

Requirements
Sales experience required (event industry experience is a huge plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel throughout Connecticut, New England, and New York as needed
Must be willing to travel to our NYC office a minimum of 4 times per month, in addition to scheduling client meetings, visiting job sites in NYC, and occasionally working from our NYC showroom
Flexible schedule (occasional evenings/weekends for events)
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Compensation OTE: $65,000 – $80,000+ (Base + Commission)
