The Event Sales Manager at Oasis Outdoors responsible for driving the sales of group events, corporate functions, birthday parties, and other private events. This role will focus on increasing revenue by promoting the center's event packages, coordinating with clients to ensure smooth event execution, and building strong, lasting relationships with corporate clients, families, and community organizations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Proactively generate new business and develop relationships with corporate clients, schools, sports teams, and other groups looking to host events at the center.
Manage the full sales cycle for event bookings, from lead generation and initial inquiry to closing the sale.
Promote and sell the FEC's event packages, customizing them to meet client needs and budgets.
Develop and implement strategies to increase event sales and drive revenue growth.
Event Coordination & Client Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients from the moment of booking through event completion, ensuring all details are handled and expectations are met.
Work closely with the operations and entertainment teams to ensure smooth event execution and a positive guest experience.
Create and manage event proposals, contracts, and invoices, ensuring all details are accurately captured.
Customer Experience:
Provide excellent customer service by maintaining ongoing communication with clients before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Handle event-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients and guests.
Marketing & Promotions:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote event offerings via online channels, print materials, and local community events.
Assist in creating promotional campaigns to drive event sales during peak seasons (e.g., holidays, summer, etc.).
Reporting & Analytics:
Track sales leads, conversion rates, and event success metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide regular reports on event sales performance, client feedback, and potential opportunities for growth.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations and entertainment teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience for all guests.
Participate in regular meetings with sales, operations, and management teams to share feedback, insights, and strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in event sales, hospitality, or entertainment industries.
Experience in a family entertainment center, theme park, or similar venue is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clients.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
