    About the role

    We are seeking professional, reliable, and energetic Event Servers/Bartenders to join our catering team. This is an on-call position, with shifts scheduled based on event needs and availability. In this dual role, you will provide exceptional food and beverage service while ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, has strong hospitality skills, and is comfortable both serving and/or bartending.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, linens, service stations, and bar areas

    Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner

    Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and event specifications

    Maintain cleanliness and organization of service and bar areas throughout events

    Provide attentive, friendly, and professional guest service

    Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and clearing

    Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service

    Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines

    Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth execution

    Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly

    Qualifications:

    Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred

    Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, and wine

    Strong communication and customer service skills

    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

    Professional appearance and positive attitude

    Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays

    Must meet legal requirements for serving alcohol

    Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions

    Ability to lift up to 50lbs, ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs

    DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred

    Willingness to work a flexible schedule daytime Monday – Friday and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays
