    About the Role

    We are seeking professional, reliable, and energetic Event Servers/Bartenders to join our catering team on an on-call basis. Shifts are scheduled based on event needs and team member availability.

    In this role, you will provide food and beverage service, support event setup and breakdown, and help create a seamless guest experience. The ideal candidate is hospitality-focused, comfortable serving or bartending, and able to work efficiently in fast-paced event environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Service

    Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

    Provide attentive, friendly service throughout each event.

    Respond to guest requests and help resolve issues promptly.

    Maintain a polished and professional presence.

    Beverage Service

    Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Follow event recipes, specifications, and responsible alcohol-service practices.

    Verify guest age when serving alcohol.

    Maintain clean and organized bar areas.

    Event Setup and Service

    Set up and break down tables, linens, service stations, and bar areas.

    Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing, and breakdown.

    Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout events.

    Coordinate with culinary and event teams to support smooth execution.

    Safety and Compliance

    Follow food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service guidelines.

    Maintain safe and sanitary work areas.

    Meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol.

    Job Requirements

    Experience and Skills

    Previous serving, bartending, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.

    Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.

    Strong communication and guest-service skills.

    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach.

    Department of Health Food Protection Certificate preferred.

    Schedule and Physical Requirements

    Availability to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Ability to stand for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions.

    Ability to carry trays and move safely through active event spaces.

    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly lift up to 25 pounds.
