The Hilton Charlotte University Place is looking for enthusiastic Banquet Servers to provide excellent customer service to our guests at catered hotel functions. Must be able to serve customers in a friendly and professional manner while adhering to the standards set by Hilton Hotels & Resorts. • Eligible for base pay ($4.00/hour) + gratuities for each event function. • No limit on gratuities. • Currently filling two vacancies – weekends/holidays are required for all openings. Responsibilities: • Sets up banquet meal functions as described by the banquet function sheet. • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service during banquet meal functions. • Performs tableside and/or buffet food service as required. • Maintains a clean and orderly workstation. • Cleans tables of all glasses, silver, china, etc, During and after banquet functions • Completes all assigned side work throughout the scheduled shift. • Greets and continually monitors to ensure quality guest satisfaction. • Informs the supervisor of guest comments/complaints. • Assists other banquet associates when needed. Qualifications: • Must wear the required uniform • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance • Flexibility to work various shifts • Prior serving experience preferred but not required. • Experience: Banquet: 1 year (Preferred) Food Beverage: 1 year (Preferred) Compensation: $4 per hour plus gratuities
