    Job Summary At Art of Drawers – East Tennessee, we’re looking for an outgoing, reliable Event Specialist to help us grow our brand presence and book new client appointments at home shows, festivals, and other local events. This is not a passive booth job—you’ll be front and center, engaging with attendees, educating them on our services, capturing leads, and most importantly, booking qualified design appointments on the spot.

    This part-time role is ideal for someone who’s confident approaching strangers, enjoys meaningful conversation, and wants to be rewarded based on performance. You’ll also assist with event setup and takedown and help us identify new opportunities by researching local events we should participate in.

    What You’ll Do

    Attract and engage event attendees with enthusiasm and professionalism

    Educate prospects on Art of Drawers products and services

    Capture contact information and book in-home design appointments

    Track and manage leads using simple tools provided

    Set up and tear down booth displays at events

    Proactively research and recommend new events, shows, or community gatherings

    Coordinate logistics and assist with event planning

    What We’re Looking For

    Outgoing personality with strong communication skills

    Comfortable initiating conversations and overcoming objections

    Weekend availability (most events occur Fridays through Sundays)

    Organized and self-motivated with attention to detail

    Ability to lift and transport event materials (up to ~40 lbs)

    Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the region

    Prior event, sales, or customer service experience is a plus
