    Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of event staff for an upcoming technology summit taking place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. from Monday, June 9th - Wednesday, June 11th.

    This is a great opportunity for those looking to join our roster as Washington D.C. is an active market for us and we will have additional opportunities in 2025.

    Job Description

    • We will be supporting our client almost exclusively with badge/session scanning, however, we will also be assisting with registration, ushering, and room monitoring.
    • Staff will be asked to work in multiple roles during the course of the event and be moved frequently to different areas of the venue.
    • Pay is $21/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit!
    • Staff will need to wear their own black slacks, black button-down shirt, and black professional shoes.
    • Must be fully available for all three days of this event. Mandatory training will be held on Monday, June 9th.
    • We do have shift times/hours outside of the ranges listed below, however, they are limited. This event ends around 6pm, so we have no afternoon or evening shifts available.

    Shift Dates & Times (Subject to Change)

    • Monday, June 9th, 2025: Shifts start at 9am and will be 4-6 hours in length.

    • Tuesday, June 10th, 2025: Shifts start between the hours of 5:30am-7:30am and will be 9-12 hours in length

    • Wednesday, June 11th, 2025: Shifts start between the hours of 6am-8am and wil be 7-9 hours in length.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
    • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
    • Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
    • Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
    • Limited phone use during shifts.
    • Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

    Ideal Candidates

    • Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred.
    • Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
    • Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
    • Local to Washington DC area. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
