Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will assist with logistics, vendor coordination, setup and teardown, and ensure a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate functions, conferences, trade shows, and social gatherings.
Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, decorations, signage, and AV equipment.
Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and service.
Greet and assist guests, answer questions, and provide directions or event information.
Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining event checklists, schedules, and guest lists.
Manage inventory of event supplies and promotional materials.
Respond to last-minute issues or changes with a calm and solution-oriented mindset.
Assist with post-event evaluations, including cleanup, reporting, and feedback collection.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, or related field is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
