Position Overview
The Event Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising creative and event-related activities in the playground and event spaces. This role supports the success of birthday parties, seasonal events, workshops, and other activities by ensuring high-quality artistic presentations, smooth coordination, and excellent guest experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Drive sales of birthday and holiday packages, customizing experiences as needed.
Plan and oversee school trips, workshops, parties, and special events.
Communicate with vendors regarding purchase orders and report to the Art Manager.
Manage event schedules and bookings using the KidLavie administrative platform.
Supervise event setups, including play kitchen, party rooms, and creative stations.
Create and maintain décor, including balloon designs, theme decorations, and seasonal displays.
Track sales reports, material costs, and ensure event budgets are met.
Collaborate with chefs to coordinate menus and kitchen needs for events.
Lead the Art Department to ensure timely and high-quality preparation of seasonal and special events.
Work with the Social Media/Marketing team to highlight events and creative projects.
Requirements
Previous experience in event coordination, art supervision, or hospitality preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Creative eye for decoration, design, and presentation.
Ability to lead a team and manage event timelines effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
