Position Overview

We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our Event Tent Installation Crew. As a Tent Installer, you will work alongside our experienced team to set up and break down tents, flooring, staging, and related event equipment at customer locations throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. No prior experience is required — we provide full on-the-job training and the opportunity to build valuable skills in the event rental industry.

This is a hands-on, active role that plays a direct part in making weddings, corporate events, and special occasions come to life.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the installation and breakdown of frame tents, pole tents, and structure tents at customer sites

Set up and remove related event equipment including sidewalls, flooring, lighting, tables, and chairs

Safely load and unload equipment from company vehicles

Follow directions from the Foreman and senior crew members to ensure installations are completed correctly and on time

Maintain and care for equipment, reporting any damage or issues to the Foreman

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times

Represent Taylor Rental Party Plus professionally when on-site at customer events

Assist with warehouse duties and equipment preparation as needed

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Candidates must be able to:

Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday

Perform prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching

Work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain

Work on uneven terrain and various ground surfaces

Perform overhead work during tent installation

Maintain physical stamina throughout long workdays, which may include early mornings and weekends during peak season

Valid driver's license a plus, but not required
