Yellowhammer Hospitality, a division of the IRBY Group, is seeking a driven and outgoing Event Venue Sales & Marketing Manager to grow bookings and revenue across our three unique event venues in Mobile, Alabama. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and marketing for our venues — Courtyard on Dauphin and Hallet-Irby House (both in Downtown Mobile), and Oak & Fountain (in Grand Bay). You will be responsible for generating leads through social media and community relationships, responding to inquiries, giving venue tours, building relationships with event vendors, and converting leads into confirmed bookings. We already have a strong event coordination team in place, so this position is primarily focused on generating leads, closing bookings, and increasing visibility for our venues in the Mobile area. Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000+ target annual earnings ($35,000–$45,000 base salary + commission on booked events). Responsibilities: • Respond to event inquiries and follow up with leads from the website, email, phone, and social media channels • Conduct venue tours and present the features of our event spaces to prospective clients • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings through strong follow-up and relationship building • Manage contracts, deposits, and maintain an organized booking pipeline for events • Build relationships with wedding planners, photographers, caterers, and other event vendors to generate referrals and partnerships • Plan, create, and publish engaging content on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) to promote the venues and generate new leads • Capture photos and videos during events and tours to showcase the venues and highlight real events happening at our locations • Engage with followers, respond to social media inquiries, and convert online interest into venue tours and bookings • Identify marketing opportunities, partnerships, and local networking events that increase bookings and venue visibility Qualifications: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing personality • Experience in sales, hospitality, event venues, marketing, or a related field preferred • Experience managing social media accounts for businesses (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and creating engaging content • Comfortable meeting new people, giving venue tours, and building relationships with potential clients and vendors • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and opportunities at once • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a small, fast-paced business environment • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when events, tours, or marketing opportunities require it Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000+ OTE
