    OVERVIEW

The vision of Commission 127 (C127) is that kids from hard places would experience love through a well-supported family. C127’s mission is to strengthen and support foster and adoptive families by creating community and equipping churches to launch and lead Family Advocacy Ministries. The C127 model hinges on developing strong Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs) in local churches to accomplish this mission. The C127 staff works diligently to guide these FAMs to success and to give them the best resources available to maximize kingdom impact. At C127, we live out our core values through “proactive stewardship” of the resources and relationships entrusted to us, embracing the “healthy hard” by doing challenging work in sustainable, life-giving ways. We also “celebrate belonging” by creating a culture where every caregiver, volunteer, donor, and team member is seen, honored, and valued.

One would thrive in this role if they are committed to Jesus and the Church, passionate about creating spaces that reflect God’s heart for community, and bring a blend of creativity, organization, and relational warmth to every gathering.
