Outside Sales Professional

EventBuilder is searching for enthusiastic and self-motivated sales professionals who are passionate about helping clients solve problems with our concierge professional services enabled by our proprietary SaaS offering. 100% remote position. Must reside in Washington State.

What we do : EventBuilder is a webinar and virtual events enablement company, supporting and servicing clients’ events programming using our proprietary SaaS offering that enhances Microsoft Teams & Teams Live Event. With decades of experience in the virtual events industry, EventBuilder provides full service support to medium and large businesses that are growing a webinar program.
EventBuilder is expanding our sales team to include an outside sales expert. This is a new position with high growth potential as well as the opportunity to help shape our sales organization moving forward. We are scaling our business to the next level and we invite you to join us.
The untapped potential for EventBuilder’s software and services with Microsoft Teams is vast. There are more than 400,000 Microsoft Partners and 280 million active daily Teams users. 90%+ of Fortune companies use Teams across all major industries.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Attend conferences, events, trade shows, etc. to identify potential customers
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Work collaboratively to determine value-based pricing to maximize gross profit
- Stay on top of industry-specific trends and landscapes and opportunities for for new business initiatives
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Create, deliver, and manage client presentations, proposals and coordinate quarterly business reviews
- Presentation and closing of our proprietary SaaS solution and services to C level executives
- RFP fulfillment for government and enterprise organizations
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings and sales appointments, and follow up with customers about their order status
- Vet and set appointments with qualified submissions
- Consistently follow-up to close deals
- Work with customer to obtain payment information
- Provide clear documentation and record keeping of client interactions and pipeline in CRM system
- Continually enhance product and operational process knowledge to maintain role as a subject matter expert
- Work closely with internal teams to drive customer feedback and improve products and services
- Defer to Software Success manager for complex technical questions
- Willingness to flex hours to support global partners
- Responsible for upholding and complying with company Privacy and Security requirements
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree and 5+ years of sales experience focused on growing new business
- Experience in administration and high-volume office work may be advantageous
- Mastery of sales principles and customer service practices
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- HubSpot and ZoomInfo experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience selling On-Demand, SaaS (Software as a Service) solution or subscription-based product to a diverse customer base (preferred)
- Experience selling technical services (preferred)
- Large account management or project management experience
- Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies
- Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions
- Capture management for government contracts and enterprise RFP (preferred)

COMPENSATION
Compensation will be offered in a phased approach.
- Months 1-3 $90,000/yr base pay
- Months 4-9 $70,000/yr base pay
- Months 10 and beyond $50,000/yr base pay
- Commission 10% on new business and is based on actual customer payments
- Target compensation $150,000/yr or greater at one year
