We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Events Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of events. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating event logistics, including venue arrangements, catering, and vendor communication
Support onsite event setup, registration, and breakdown
Maintain accurate records of event budgets, timelines, and contact lists
Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure all event details are accurate and up to date
Assist with the creation of event materials such as schedules, signage, and checklists
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during event execution
Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning, hospitality, or administrative support
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
