The Bitterroot River Inn & Conference Center is looking for a part-time, well-organized candidate who will be booking the Conference Center for various events to include weddings, business meetings, and vendor shows. This position is around 24-32 hours per week and requires some weekends and evenings. Responsibilities: • Booking events in the conference center and coordinating the event from start to finish. Confirming with the customer their needs during the event. • Preparing and sending out contracts to prospective customers. • Meeting with the customer to tour the facility. • Quoting rates for the conference rooms based on the event's needs. • May need to help with set-up for the events, i.e., placing tables and chairs, for the meeting. • Billing the customer for their event. • Communicating with the hotel staff about what events are taking place in the Conference Center and creating/maintaining a calendar of each month's events. • Making coffee for the events. • Some cleaning of the conference room area; vacuuming, mopping, etc. Qualifications: • Organizational skills are a must, as well as communication skills. • Some computer skills needed, Microsoft Word and Outlook. • Customer service skills. • Able to work a flexible schedule. Compensation: $16 hourly
