Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator & Concierge (Contractor) to help deliver exceptional experiences across our B2B and partner events.
In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of ConsumerDirect and partner events while serving as a warm, professional representative of our brand. You’ll help ensure every partner, guest, and attendee feels welcomed, valued, and supported—from pre-event coordination to on-site execution. Additionally, you’ll support light outbound sales and engagement efforts, including confirming attendance and following up with key contacts to maximize participation and relationship value.
Job duties:
- Coordinate B2B events hosted by ConsumerDirect and/or our partners, including exhibitions and conferences.
- Manage event logistics such as venues, vendors, materials, catering, and on-site execution.
- Oversee setup, registration, check-in, guest support, and breakdown to ensure smooth event flow.
- Track timelines and deliverables to maintain event quality and efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison for partners hosting their own events, offering guidance, templates, and vendor resources.
- Ensure partner events align with company standards, messaging, and hospitality values.
- Maintain a shared calendar of partner-led events and provide ongoing communication to ensure alignment and visibility
- Transport, set up, and break down event materials (e.g., booths, signage, collateral) must be comfortable with light physical labor and lifting.
- Manage the design and setup of event environments such as podcasts, green rooms, and stages to ensure a seamless and engaging experience.
- Assist the Director of Partner Relations on-site as needed for B2B, creating a welcoming environment and maintaining a professional brand presence.
- Engage guests, speakers, and partners with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness.
- Conduct outbound calls or emails to confirm attendance and assist with registration.
- Support pre- and post-event communication to maximize engagement.
- Represent the brand with professionalism and a hospitality-first mindset in all interactions.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years of proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or marketing (B2B or partner experience preferred). (required)
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Eventbrite, Airtable, or Asana is a plus,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to make people feel welcome.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and representing the brand in relationship-driven conversations.
Compensation : This is a contract position compensated at a flat rate per event or project, determined by the event’s scope and deliverables.
Travel : Occasional travel may be required for on-site event and partner support
