    Events and Programming Intern

    Summary

    The Events and Programming Intern plays a large role in program planning for Crawford Hoying communities. This individual will help coordinate and execute events and provide ongoing assistance to the marketing and events team. This is a summer internship. Start and end dates will depend on the intern's academic schedule.

    Job Responsibilities (responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following)

    ● Assist in planning and executing on-site and off-site summer events, including set-up, breakdown and event-day support. Bridge Park events may include, but are not limited to:

    o The Dublin Market | Saturdays, May 3 through September 27 (7:00am to 2:00pm)

    o Fore!Fest | May 30 and May 31

    o Party at the Plaza | June 6 and August 8

    o Summer Music Series | June - September

    o Other ongoing programming, as needed

    ● Assist with day-of logistics and set up at other property events, including but not limited to:

    o Party at the Plaza | Dayton, Ohio

    o Reds and Bengals tailgates | Cincinnati, Ohio

    o Miscellaneous openings, groundbreakings, corporate and resident events | Various properties throughout Ohio

    ● Support with vendor, sponsor and employee communications regarding event logistics and marketing needs

    ● Assist with event booking, programming, and activation of The Dublin Market at Bridge Park entertainment schedule and Bridge Park's summer music series

    o Ensure proper and consistent communication, invoicing, AV set-up and more

    o Communicate with bands to cross-promote performances, as needed

    o Coordinate set up and tear down of onsite activations, vendors and more

    ● Support marketing team by updating event websites, event media calendars, social content calendar, on-site reels and more

    ● Provide general administrative support, including drafting emails, calendar invites and data entry

    ● Perform other duties as assigned

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

    ● Experience with planning and managing events

    ● Knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and Sprout Social (preferred skill)

    ● Experience preparing promotional materials in Canva and/or InDesign

    ● Basic photography skills for content creation (a plus, but not required)

    ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    ● Results-oriented attitude

    ● Willingness to learn a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures

    ● Flexibility in taking on projects

    Work Environment

    The Events and Programming Intern works at the corporate office during the week and at specific event locations on assigned weekends. During events, this individual will be required to work outside for a large portion of the day. Saturdays and evening hours are required, as needed, for events.

    Reporting Structure

    The Events and Programming Intern reports to the Director of Events and Programming.

    Physical Requirements

    The Events and Programming Intern's physical condition must be sufficient for the consistent and successful completion of the responsibilities defined for this position. This position frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting up to twenty-five pounds.

    $17.00/hour
