Role Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to join our dynamic San Jose team at EverLine Coatings and Services. This role is designed for those with 1 to 3 years of experience in construction or related fields who thrive in an active, on-the-ground environment. The successful candidate will not only manage but actively participate in a variety of projects, including line striping, crack filling, and sealcoating. You will lead teams, directly manage resources, and engage in the physical tasks required to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain equipment for line painting, asphalt crack filling, sealcoating, power washing, and epoxy flooring.

Assist in planning and executing projects to ensure high-quality results.

Train, supervise, and schedule labor and equipment daily to adhere to project timelines.

Communicate daily progress and any issues to the General Manager/Owner.

Maintain safe and hazard-free job sites.

Compile accident and injury reports as required.

Undertake additional tasks as needed to support project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Recent graduate in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in heavy asphalt paving, crack filling, or line striping is preferred.

Possession of a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

Understands the importance of punctuality, organization, and customer satisfaction.

Capable of physically demanding tasks (able to lift up to 75 lbs).

Able to work independently and without direct supervision.

Experience with small engines or paint sprayers is a plus.
