EverClear Hospice & Palliative Care's goal is to enhance the quality of life of the patient and their family. It includes medical care, emotional support, pain management, and spiritual support. Hospice care is usually recommended for individuals who have life-limiting illnesses or conditions and have decided to forego curative treatment.
Our organization is looking for an experienced Hospice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical and intensive care, as well as home health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients in their homes and in hospice settings. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of end-of-life care, and the ability to provide comfort and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
Assess patient's physical and emotional needs.
Develop and implement a plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient's condition and adjust the plan of care as needed.
Provide education to patients and families on end-of-life issues.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
Provide critical care services in the home setting.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
