POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This Position is responsible for helping with day-to-day operations of all shop equipment for Epic Print. These machines include but are not limited to; digital presses, offset presses, multi-function printers, envelope printers, tabbers, stamp affixers, insertion equipment, scorers, cutters, and pressure sealers, folders and much more!

Production Associates are detail oriented as well as energetic. Since we are consistently working with multiple clients and several projects at once it is important that our candidate keep a keen eye on the specified details of a job, as well as be able to meet deadlines. You must be quick on your feet, motivated, and enjoy new and creative ways to employ your skill set.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Pay close attention to printed materials for imperfections or mistakes.
• Operate different machines to stuff and seal envelopes, affix postage, and properly cut mail pieces to size.
• Bundle and prepare multiple mail-jobs throughout the day.
• Perform weekly machine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Update Inventory.
• Communicate directly with Floor Manager and Production Manager to assure correct workflow.
• General Warehouse and Distribution Duties.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to accurately read and use measuring stick to assure correct cuts
• Exceptional time-management skills and capability of meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift in excess of 25 pounds
• Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, and turning movements
• Ability to carry out frequent reaching, pushing and pulling motions
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Reliable daily transportation
• Cell phone
• Positive attitude/work ethic, willing to learn
• Good communication skills
• High School Degree or Equivalent Education

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
