Position Overview:
We're on the hunt for a Solar Sales Representative to join our solar-powered squad. As a Self-Generated Solar Sales Representative, you'll be the shining beacon of solar knowledge in our community. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to spread the solar love, one sunny sale at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete a live, virtual two day training seminar where you will learn strategies for setting up solar appointments
Shadow appointments that you have set and learn the closing process from one of our solar experts
Update records in CRM
Be the ray of sunshine that generates leads and referrals as bright as the sun itself.
Educate potential customers on the benefits of going solar (and make it sound more exciting than a beach vacation).
Design custom solar solutions
Work closely with our solar installation team to ensure a seamless transition to clean energy.
Have a weekly 1-on-1 coaching call with your team leader to plan and strategize
Keep up-to-date with solar industry trends, because knowledge is power (solar power, in this case).
Qualifications:
A burning passion for renewable energy and a desire to save the planet, one solar panel at a time.
Excellent communication skills; you can explain solar power to a toddler or a rocket scientist with ease.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented (we're all about those shiny targets).
1 year of sales experience is preferred, but if you can sell ice to an Eskimo, you're in!
Business owner mindset with the ability to commit to putting in the time necessary to succeed
