    Job Summary :

    Under general supervision, is responsible for the medical care of urgent care patients. Treats patients in Urgent Care Clinics (UC) to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary.

    FTE : PART-TIME or FULL-TIME candidates will be considered.

    Location : Negotiable / flexible. Clinics are located in Redmond, Woodinville, Mill Creek, Totem Lake, Sammamish, Kenmore, and Monroe. New clinic opening soon in Bothell / Canyon Park.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    • Works collaboratively and supportively with members of the medical staff to provide quality, urgent care medical services for all patients who present to the UC. Provides leadership at the clinic and contributes to a positive work environment, working cooperatively with other clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure access, quality, and effective use of services.
    • Treats patients to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, request necessary tests and follow-up visits. As necessary, stabilizes patient and coordinates transportation of patient to tertiary care centers. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Completes chart documentation in a timely manner.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Education, Training & Experience:

    • Master's Degree from an accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner program or graduation from a Physician Assistant (PA) Training Program accredited by the American Medical Association Council on Medical Education
    • Licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant with a current valid, full and unrestricted license in Washington State
    • Current BLS and ACLS
    • Maintains Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements
    • Minimum two years of acute care experience required
    • No more than twelve (12) months since last work assignment preferred

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Familiarity with standard UC concepts, practices, and procedures. Prior use of an EMR and ability to learn a new system.
