Essential Job Functions
Assist in set up of multiple sewing stations ensuring all production materials are available
Operate single needle, double needle, and serger industrial level sewing machines to sew parachute products
Visually inspect product quality and document results
Maintain cleanliness of equipment in all assigned areas
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
Inspect parts during assembly and upon completion to assure compliance with established product quality criteria
Perform additional responsibilities as requested
Qualifications/Experience/Job Knowledge
High School Diploma required.
Prior work in a non-profit atmosphere and/or experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. .
Combination of education and experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
Constantly moves about to coordinate work
Regularly works in fast pace environment with multiple task deadlines
Regularly moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Occasionally exposed to viruses and infectious conditions
Constantly alert and observant during working hours

Special Requirements
May be required to attend seminar or job-related training courses.
Must have understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Must have the ability to maintain good working relationships with Evergreen staff and with contacts from other agencies or entities.
Must be able to prioritize work tasks.
Employment Variables
Must have a good driving record which meets the minimum requirements for Evergreen and reliable transportation. Must pass drug screen and criminal background check. Must be able to work some evenings when required.
Working Environment
Typical office setting, as well as that of a production facility and/or warehouse with moderate noise level.
May be required to work in a variety of settings and environments both indoors and outdoors.
