Every Special Child is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Danville, CA. We offer wonderful compensation with a great salary structure. Currently, we are working with several school districts throughout California.

Special Education Teacher - (Multiple positions)
Danville, CA
NSY 2023-24

_ Details of Assignment:_

• _ Age Group: Elementary, Middle School, High School_
• _ Special Ed Teacher M/M - Elementary_
• _ SDC Teacher M/M - High School_
• _ RSP Teacher M/M - Middle School & High School_
• _ Caseload: TBD_
• _ Start Date: Aug 9th, 2023_
• _ No. Of Working Hours: 8 hours per day_
• _ No. Of Working Days: 5 days/week_
• _ End date: Jun 5th, 2024_

Job Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for teaching groups of students.
• Meet each student’s learning requirements and build individual lesson plans to their specific needs.
• You will also discuss with parents and support staff to meet students’ progress.
• Adapt learning materials to students’ needs, ability to create IEPs
• Keep track of and reflect on students’ progress
• Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
• Prepare students for the transition to the next grade
• Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
• Collaborate with the support staff
• All other duties related to the program.

Requirements:

• Valid California Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Education Specialist License
• 1+ years of working experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s Degree with an emphasis in special education preferred.
