    We are looking for a talented Logistics Manager to join our team in Los Angeles and provide creative and efficient coordination for multiple business channels. This position will report directly to the Director of Logistics while also interacting with various levels of leadership within the organization. You will support the day-to-day delivery activities within the Los Angeles region while also responsible for various administrative tasks that support the company’s overall goals. You will be wearing many hats in this role and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of food & beverage logistics for a growing mission-based organization.

The candidate must be highly skilled at managing complex logistics and operations, with experience helping operationally-driven businesses grow extremely quickly.     Responsibilities

    Create and implement organizational and operational systems for fulfilling daily food deliveries to our Retail Stores, SmartFridge accounts, Subscription customers, and Catering orders

    Collaborate with multiple business channels to continue to improve logistics systems company wide

    Work to constantly improve our systems with a focus on customer satisfaction, revenue, profit margins, food safety, and food quality

    Plan, schedule, and optimize daily and weekly routes via our routing software to ensure timely deliveries

    Ensure all transportation laws are being followed and drivers are maintaining a safe driving record

    Manage third-party logistics providers, Everytable drivers, and our fleet of vehicles

    Respond in a timely and often-real time manner to all delivery issues

    Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

    Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

    Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. weekly sales results and monthly forecasts)

    Supports Manager relative to month end communication and reporting to ensure defined estimates vs. goals are reported

    Must be able to conduct in-depth analysis to identify root cause of service-impacting issues and develop appropriate countermeasures

    Assesses manpower needs based on present and past production requirements

    Work collaboratively with cross teams to resolve order, shipping and inventory issues on a daily basis - with exposure across the company, including Operations, SmartFridge, Subscription, and Catering teams

    Requirements/Qualifications

    3-5 year of experience managing large delivery teams

    3-5 years of implementing DOT and OSHA regulations

    MUST be willing and able to drive a 16-26’ box truck

    1+ years of routing experience

    Must be comfortable in Google/Microsoft suite of applications

    Available to work a Tuesday - Saturday schedule and flexibility with the business needs

    Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

    Independent spirit and can-do attitude to get things done

    Ability to work collaboratively in a proactive and constructive manner

    Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment

    Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software

    Willingness to wear many different hats at once

    Willing to work hard, sometimes at odd hours (including weekends on occasion)

    Must be deeply passionate about social and/or food justice
