HR Assistant
Everytable is an LA-based social enterprise startup that sells fresh, healthy, grab-and-go meals that are affordable for every community. We are looking for a talented HR Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles and provide creative and efficient coordination for multiple business channels. This position will report directly to the HR Manager and to the Controller while also interacting with various levels of leadership within the organization. You will support the day-to-day hr and financial activities while also responsible for various administrative tasks that support the company’s overall goals. You will be wearing many hats in this role and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of food & beverage logistics for a growing mission-based organization.

HR support 60% Finance support 30% Special Projects 10%
Total 100%
HR support:
Perform a wide variety of responsible clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties
Assists with new-employee orientations
Assist with harassment training within our facility
Assists in the maintenance of personnel records ensuring timely and accurate records
Assist with pre-employment screenings, and follow-through the entire process to ensure timely results receipt
Finance support:
● Assist with distribution of employee paychecks on a bi-weekly basis
● Update Payroll for Employee changes - address, pay rate, federal and state deductions, direct
deposit.
● Assist with the processing of manual checks
● All W-2 requests
● Respond to all Unemployment and Disability claims
● Assist with the filing and maintenance of all Workers Compensation claims
Special projects:
Collaborate with the HR department and work to develop our internal hiring program.
Develop employee incentive program
Requirements/Qualifications
Bilingual - Spanish
High standards of professionalism and integrity
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong project management and administrative skills
Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency, ADP and Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)●
Ability to use good judgment in establishing priorities for independent work
Ability to read and comprehend complex written material such as legal documents and benefit
summaries
