Everytable is looking for individuals to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the kitchen and maintaining an organized work area. We are looking for someone who is ambitious to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. This person will be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team.
Everytable Central Kitchen is currently seeking Sanitation Workers to work in the Food Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidates should have previous kitchen cleaning or sanitation experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic machine disassembly/setup for cleaning
Recognize and address equipment needing deep cleaning
Properly use chemicals to effectively and safely perform cleaning tasks
Report employee safety, food safety and quality concerns to appropriate personnel
Comply with all employee safety/food safety requirements, training, policies and procedures
Clean workstations and equipment regularly
Maintain a clean work area, clean floor and empty trash containers regularly
Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
Requirements & Qualifications:
1 year working in a kitchen cleaning or working in a food manufacturing plant working as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machines
Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps
Basic knowledge of top down washing sequence for proper food safety
Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage
Ability to learn how to clean all plant lines
Ability to prioritize work
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
Complete checklists and documents for assigned work area on a daily basis
Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with fellow team members and management
Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, and shifts from morning through late night
Position will require frequent standing, bending/kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
