Our business model, which utilizes a local, central kitchen and small-footprint restaurants, is designed to make fresh, nutritious food affordable for people on the go.

    The Role:

    We are looking for a talented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles and provide creative and efficient coordination for multiple business channels. This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager while also interacting with various levels of leadership within the organization. You will support the day-to-day delivery activities within the Los Angeles region while also responsible for various administrative tasks that support the company’s overall goals. You will be wearing many hats in this role and have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of food & beverage logistics for a growing mission-based organization.

    Responsibilities:

    Routing of daily deliveries via routing software

    Scheduling drivers to coincide with delivery volume

    Reviewing deliveries before and after to ensure orders are accurate and business channel is satisfied

    Providing customer service for internal logistics inquiries, answering questions, and trouble-shooting department & partner challenges

    Working with the delivery teams to ensure all transportation laws are being followed and drivers are maintaining a safe driving record

    Tracking periodic maintenance schedules and scheduling when appropriate

    Tracking vehicle registration and renewals

    Managing company driver insurance policy changes

    Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries to appropriate parties

    Ongoing logistics projects

    Occasional administrative tasks as needed

    Desired Experience

    2-3 years in a logistics coordination role (Desired)

    1-2 years in food and beverage (Desired)

    Valid California driver’s license (Required)

    Clean driving record (Required)

    Flexible schedule and willingness to work early and weekend shifts

    Knowledge of routing software, scheduling, safety procedures, and transportation laws (Required)

    Strong verbal and written/e-mail communication skills; English fluency and literacy

    Strong time management and customer service skills

    Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
