Meals are made from scratch each day at our central commissary kitchen and sold through small footprint, company-operated stores. The Fulfillment Operations Manager has complete responsibility over in-kitchen packing operations, outbound operations, all functional process responsibility over the subscription fulfillment vertical and coordination of third party delivery partnerships when partners arrive on-site.
Responsible for the safe, timely and cost-effective execution of all kitchen processes including receiving, storing, maintaining, arranging and presenting material throughout the distribution center with the ultimate goal of final customer satisfaction upon receipt of subscription meal delivery. A strong candidate will possess a tactical mindset that will be able to elevate the shared commissary kitchen and distribution environments to best in class. This person will be expected to drive improvements across the operational segments and be a change agent.

Control inventory levels by physical counting and reconciling in preparation of outgoing delivery
Maintain quality in balance with production rates.
Closely follow and monitor food handling Standard of Procedures guidelines for Subscription packing meals
Fulfill deliveries efficiently and safely
Maintain storage area and cleanliness of space
Ensure proper handling of all warehouse equipment
Maintain stock levels on production lines.
Help with the rollout and implementation of new processes.
Highly developed and disciplined in work ethic, accountability, and follow through
Superior organizational skills.
Requirements
Warehouse/distribution center operations experience
Self-directed individual who is able to work in an environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal and external customers
Late night and early morning shifts
Experience working effectively in complex organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse constituents and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities
Able to manage, lead, and develop operational staff
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Physical Job Elements
Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds each
Walking in the Commissary Kitchen and around area with great frequency
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours
Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation
Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)
