Shipping & Receiving Team MemberEverytable is a Los Angeles-based, social impact-driven startup that sells healthy, grab-and-go food that is affordable for every single community in Los Angeles. Our mission is to fight for food justice and food security, and we are looking for an ambitious, passionate person to join our growing team. Our business model, which utilizes a local, central kitchen and small-footprint restaurants, is designed to make fresh, nutritious food affordable for people on the go.

We are looking to hire a Shipping & Receiving Team Member who will be responsible for shipping, receiving, staging and moving products within the facility. This position will report directly to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, while also interacting with various levels of leadership within the organization.

Responsibilities

Primary duties consist of shipping and receiving functions involving arranging pallets, loading products, keeping track of orders, efficiently organizing pallets based on delivery routes, and receiving shipments

Responsible for keeping track of everything coming in and going out of the warehouse

Routines include working around scheduled routes for drivers, organizing pallets based on the order they are going out, helping load the trucks based on the delivery route and assisting the delivery driver with everything before departure

Sorting, stacking, shelving and maintaining organized inventory.

Responsible for keeping the warehouse organized, clean and orderly.

Loads and unload products from trucks, dock or storage areas using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment

Examines product content, comparing with inventory records, and orders to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Verifies product received against shipping document and notes discrepancies.

May transport items from the warehouse or freezer to various departments. Store the products in their proper places in the warehouse.

Adheres to and promotes proper GMP's when working within food production areas or handling food products.

Requirements

2-3 years in a shipping & receiving role (Desired)

1-2 years in food and beverage (Desired)

Flexible schedule and willingness to work early and weekend shifts

Strong verbal, written and email communication skills

English fluency and literacy

Strong time management and customer service skills

Ability to walk, operate pallet jack, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
