Mover/Stager-Design for Staging Company - (Warehouse located in Miramar) This job is not like a standard moving company, our crew assists the design team in setting up a home. Please note this is a moving position and not a designer position. Part-Time, 20 - 30 hrs (with an aim to give up to 40 hours per week) ECD is expanding, and we have an opportunity for you to join our growing team. We are looking for a Home Stager-Mover who is task-driven and likes to check off that to-do list. This job includes building furniture for inventory, organizing our warehouse, and working in a team environment daily. While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must lift and/or move up to 65 pounds frequently. We are a staging/interior design company and moving furniture is what we do, Goal-oriented and motivated personnel are what we are looking for. A great attitude goes a long way. Responsibilities: • As a mover for our staging company, you will be an integral part of our team • Your primary duty will be to transport furniture, decor, and other staging items to different properties, ensuring they are delivered and arranged in a timely and professional manner • Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively with the staging team will play a vital role in our company • Safely load, transport, and unload furniture, decor, and staging items to and from various properties • Collaborate with the staging team to arrange and position items within each home according to the design plan • Ensure that all staging items are handled with care and remain in excellent condition during transportation and set-up • Complete damage reports • Assist in the organization and inventory management of staging items, using inventory software • Communicate effectively with the staging team and other movers to coordinate logistics and ensure a smooth workflow • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both during transportation and at staging properties • Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while handling heavy items and operating moving equipment • Occasionally assist in minor assembly or disassembly of furniture and fixtures as required • Offer suggestions and creative ideas to enhance the overall staging process and improve efficiency • Use of various technologies for communication e.g slack, tsheets, and Google Calendar Qualifications: • Previous experience as a mover, preferably in the home staging, furniture, or related industry • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 65 lbs.) • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Effective Communication and Teamwork abilities • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in moving and staging (e.g. drill, hammer, screwdriver ) • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred • A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile • Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you Compensation: $17 - $22 hourly
