DESCRIPTION/COMMENT:

PEGA CSA CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

Pega Developers are engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements

responding to outages and creating application system models.

Pega Developers primary functions are to design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code). Will provide assistance with maintenance and production issues.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

5+ Years development experience with a Pega 7.0, Pega 8.0 above

3+ Years development experience with a Java/J2EE

2+ Years working directly with relational databases with a strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling

2+ Years working with web-based applications (JSP, Servlets, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, etc.)

2+ Years' experience with multi-threaded applications/components

2+ Years' experience with XML

Superior troubleshooting experience

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT

4+ years' experience in software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding with in Pega BPM tool

Preferred:

Experience in the Telecom industry

Experience with any Telecom Order entry is preferred but not required
