    Job Description

    Evolution Gaming is seeking an Employer Branding and Communications Specialist to join its global Employer Branding and Internal Communications team. Based in our studio in Atlantic City, NJ, the Employer Branding and Communications Specialist will be responsible for efforts designed to boost the employee experience and building the brand in the local market to facilitate recruitment of new team members. Initially the role will focus on supporting the existing studio in New Jersey, but additional states and studios might fall under this remit as the company has intention to expand its operations in the U.S. in coming years.

    The role will be equally split between internal and external activities;

    -        Internally, this role will focus on boosting the employee experience; to drive engagement and high performance from the teams through planning and executing of efficient internal communications efforts, supporting the core values and business priorities, across all channels and working closely with the local leadership team on any communications efforts.

    -        Externally, this role will be tasked to create, plan and execute efforts designed to establish the Evolution locally as an employer of choice. This will include things like image building/ recruitment advertising campaigns and efforts, media relations and social media activities.

    Overall, the Employer Branding & Communications Specialist is responsible for being the local voice of and for safeguarding Evolution’s employer brand in a manner that is aligned with the global employer branding strategy and our values. The ideal candidate has good level of understanding of basic employer branding techniques, solid experience in communications, PR and/or marketing, strong storytelling ability and exceptional writing skills. Knowledge of digital marketing and experience in working with or for an international organisation would be considered an asset. Documented experience from similar activities in the local market is a must.

    This role is for someone with a strong belief in communications as a strategic tool for business and employee happoiness and an outgoing personality with a natural ability to build strong and efficient working relationships across different cultures and levels of an organisation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy for New Jersey (and possibly other sites) and related materials that supports Evolution’s corporate values, a positive work environment and employee engagement.
    • Work with New Jersey-based senior management in their employee communication and/or local external communication; draft messages, communications material and advise on presentations skills.
    • Plan, coordinate and execute internal campaigns in New Jersey, including infotainment and educational activities designed to boost the employee experience, draft the material required for each initiative. Be the local lead for planning and creating the content for the local page on Evolution’s intranet.
    • Develop and deliver an external brand program in support the New Jersey-based Talent Acquisition team (and possibly other sites) in communicating the employer brand message effectively, including advising on and creating messaging and creative expression for social media, career fairs, job boards, job descriptions and more.
    • Liaise with photographers, videographers and graphic designers, draft creative briefs, and be the main point of contact for any creative material required for communications use, externally and internally.
    • Write and review any other employee related material that may be required, e.g. internal policies and procedures etc. for local use.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Previous experience in marketing and/or communication related roles is a must
    • Excellent command of the English language

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, PR, Branding and/or Marketing
    • Minimum 3 years from managing projects (independently or as part of team of leaders) in relevant work scope (employer branding, content writing, marketing and/or communications/PR)
    • Exceptional writer with proven experience from writing for internal communications, PR and/or marketing
    • Excellent English, written and spoken, additional language skills are an advantage
    • Experience from working on HR-related projects and social media marketing (content) will be considered an asset
    • Strong project management and organisational skills, the ability to plan the work efficiently
    • A self-dependent team player with can-do attitude and strong passion for communications as a means to boost the business and the employee experience
