Overall Role

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our growing team at our Davenport, Iowa warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the jobholder will work to receive accurately and efficiently, store and dispatch goods in line with company procedures. The role is focused on upholding Evolution’s outstanding customer service status by ensuring a quick and reliable delivery service within market-leading timeframes.

Main Duties & Tasks

· Unload delivery vehicles and check goods received accurately

· Safely palletize goods, shrink wrap and put away and stock location

· Pick, pack, and check orders with a high level of care and accuracy.

· Load all vehicles in a safe and presentable manner

· Highlight any errors or damages immediately

· Assist with monthly stock counting

· · Have daily contact with other departments including the Workshop, Sales, Accounts & Customer Services.

· Maintain high levels of site housekeeping

· Maintain high levels of health & safety and report any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately

· Actively work towards the overall company objectives, and work in collaboration with other Evolution employees to ensure continuous improvement

Skills, Experience, and Competencies

English language a necessity, whilst fluency in another language would be an advantage

· Good communication skills

· Good level of numeracy

· Attention to detail

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines

· Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly

· Strong team player

Location

· Role is based within the Warehouse team in the US, Davenport, Iowa.

Working Hours

· This position is full-time and standard working hours are 9:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.

Evolution Power Tools operates globally with our core products being saws with circular blades and our proposition being ‘the best value in saws’. In North America, we have online listings and an in-store presence with Amazon, The Home Depot, Lowes, and Canadian Tire. We also distribute from our facility in Davenport to over 1200 independent outlets across the country and throughout Canada via a third-party fulfillment center. Over the past 5 years, we have doubled in size, and this level of growth is set to continue.
