    Overall, Role / Main Function of the Job: The jobholder will be responsible for increasing sales and profitability within the agreed-upon outside sales territory by leading the company’s sales and service efforts in our Industrial/Steel distribution network.

    Location / Department

    · The role is based remotely, covering Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

    · Jobholder is a member of the Sales Department.

    · Jobholders will be required to travel extensively domestically, as the job requires.

    Reporting

    · Jobholder reports daily to the Regional Sales Manager of Evolution Power Tools, LLC. No Direct Reports

    Other Key Internal Relationships

    · Daily contact with customer service/sales support and other members of Evolution Power Tools, LLC.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    · Manage the distribution network in the given sales territory.

    Main Duties & Tasks

    · Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers and attend relevant trade shows.

    · Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.

    · Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.

    · Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales.

    · Ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information.

    · Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while on-site.

    · Penetrate all targeted accounts and increase sales from within the client base.

    · Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold calling if necessary.

    · Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.

    · In collaboration with trusted dealers, identify, visit, and capture new sales at end users.

    · Engage executive sales leaders of key accounts where applicable (example, regional VP’s, district sales managers, etc.)

    · Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time efficient manner.

    · Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms and other documentation.

    · Make a front-line assessment of market conditions and advise the company Sales Director of the findings.

    · Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and another research.

    Skills, Experience and Competencies

    · Sales, market, and management experience

    o 1 years’+ experience in an outside sales position.

    o Strength in identifying and closing new business prospects.

    o Ability to maximize the value of existing account relationships.

    o Experience working at trade shows and open houses would be an advantage.

    · Industry expertise

    o Knowledge of Industrial / Steel products and channels of distribution would be advantageous.

    o Experience identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

    · Education and tools

    o Minimum High School Diploma. Business Degree preferred.

    o Literacy in computer-based applications such as Microsoft Office.

    o Experience using customer contact systems.

    o High level of initiative. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

    o Must be able to organize and prioritize with strong project management skills.

    o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

    o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    o Quick, decisive, and communicative.

    o Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals as well as strong negotiation and closing techniques.

    o Self-starter: motivated, team focused, and results driven.

    o Strong technical skills: able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on technique using our products.
