We are a consulting engineering and architectural firm located in Longview, Texas. Our company has over 165 employees in 12 offices throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. We provide engineering, architectural, planning, surveying, and consulting services for both the public and private sector.

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team! We are currently working on water, sewer, permitting, street, H&H, utility, and airport projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform research and provide new ideas for products and systems.
• Analyze existing products and improve their efficiency and overall performance.
• Research, design, and create new products.
• Provide production support to the machining area and the assembly area.
• Analyze engineering specs, data, and drawings to determine design factors (size, shape, arrangement).
• Determine the product’s target audience.
• Develop virtual models of different designs using computer software.
• Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Present designs and perform demonstrations of product prototypes for clients.
• Review product function, safety, and appearance to ensure a practical design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent working experience.
• Experience with CAD, specifically Civil 3D.
• Passed the FE exam.
• Able to work independently.
• Passionate about the San Angelo region.
