    Job Description

We protect data processing centers from overheated and humid environments, and our customized solutions meet each of our clients individual needs. We create and configure a cooling system that saves data, energy, and money for various market sectors, including healthcare facilities, government, financial, and indoor agriculture.

    We are currently seeking a Product Development Engineer to oversee a variety of complex projects from design conception through execution. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of engineering design principles and practices in mechanical and system design, refrigeration, heat exchangers, mechanisms, and material selection.

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design products used in in the precision HVAC industries which utilize DX or liquid cooling methods.
    • Perform system predictive analysis, design verification, and validation and qualification testing.
    • Participate in the product lifecycle development and improvement (Design for
    • Manufacturing, Design for Reliability, Design to Cost, etc.).
    • Maintain and update manuals, fault maps, troubleshooting, etc.
    • Analyze data to determine performance standards for newly designed HVAC equipment or product.
    • Ensure new product designs comply with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
    • Conduct technical studies, product design, specs and technical plan prep, and product testing.
    • Participate in the layout and assembly of components in new configurations.
    • Provide technical information for manufacturing/processing techniques, materials, properties, etc.
    • Undertake new product development projects.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years of related experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
    • Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical, and control system design and implementation.
    • Experience with LabVIEW controls. (Experience programming in LabVIEW, a plus!)
    • Previous experience with researching, prototyping, and developing new products.
    • Experience designing products for manufacturability and serviceability.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Creative problem-solving skills.
