About the Position

We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented candidate to support our story and clearances team in the creation of an episodic series. This role is an entry level position that requires a candidate who can work in a time efficient manner with the utmost attention to detail, while learning new skills and balancing multiple responsibilities. Any candidate must be extremely comfortable with using Google Drive programs such as Sheets and Docs. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist head of story by organizing sound bites from transcripts and adding to shared document.

• Assist head of story in filling out paper edits.

• Compile and edit working voiceover scripts.

• Format working documents into final versions to be sent to client.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate footage logs for individual episodes.

• Work with Assistant Editor to populate music cue sheet templates for each episode.

• Maintain accurate records of all third party content used in the series. 

• Add and double check calculations of timecode for clips used in the episodes. 

• Continually inform supervisors of updates to third party materials.

• Generate regular reports of current event updates pertaining to the series.

• Assist post production team in episode quality checks. 

• Maintain ongoing list of all accurate names and titles with the show's associated personnel.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Writing, or Film-related program

• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Premiere 

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and other Google programs

• Experience and interest in design and storytelling

• A keen eye for detail and ability to track with multiple tasks
