Requirements:
- 6+ years experience as a front-end developer and strong programming language and scripting skills OR 4+ years front-end dev experience within CS degree
- Demonstrate fluency with BrightScript
- Display a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc)
- Have in-depth knowledge of web-service and data-driven application architecture.
- Be independent, energetic, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity
- Build and maintain Roku apps and BrightScript libraries
- Write high-quality code, ensuring excellence with unit tests when appropriate.
- Strong debugging skills using command line tools
- Work and collaborate with team members such as developers, testers, project managers, product managers, etc.
- Knowledge of multimedia formats and video codecs
- Experience with Scene Graph
- Work in an Agile-like, iterative development process
- Communicate tasking estimation and progress regularly to a project manager through appropriate tools
- Experience with JavaScript tooling (preferred, not required)
