    Job Description

    Requirements:

    • 6+ years experience as a front-end developer and strong programming language and scripting skills OR 4+ years front-end dev experience within CS degree
    • Demonstrate fluency with BrightScript
    • Display a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc)
    • Have in-depth knowledge of web-service and data-driven application architecture.
    • Be independent, energetic, and capable of driving for results under pressure and ambiguity
    • Build and maintain Roku apps and BrightScript libraries
    • Write high-quality code, ensuring excellence with unit tests when appropriate.
    • Strong debugging skills using command line tools
    • Work and collaborate with team members such as developers, testers, project managers, product managers, etc.
    • Knowledge of multimedia formats and video codecs
    • Experience with Scene Graph
    • Work in an Agile-like, iterative development process
    • Communicate tasking estimation and progress regularly to a project manager through appropriate tools
    • Experience with JavaScript tooling (preferred, not required)
