Our boutique real estate development firm is seeking a Project Architect with strong graphic talent, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a desire to learn! We focus on mixed-use projects in the San Diego area and are currently working on multiple projects in various stages of design and construction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about construction and real estate development.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete working drawing sets.
• Oversee the process to ensure design consistency.
• Perform assignments and provide solutions according to project specs.
• Review technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance to quality control and best practices.
• Conduct field reviews and attend project meetings.
• Coordinate schedule reviews and submit samples.
• Conduct project research.
• Problem-solve project issues.
• Review calculations, estimates, plans, and reports.
• Contact municipal building department and government agency officials for approvals.
• Target specific market, client, or project opportunities.
• Communicate with building officials during project permitting and construction phases.
• Maintain a project manual and document on-site observations and reviews.
• Develop observation reports during project close-out.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in Architecture.
• Degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) with an interest in working towards licensure.
• Previous experience in design and developing construction documents.
• Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills.
• Proficiency in REVIT, preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and highly motivated.
